Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer is said to be launching its first smartwatch at the Consumer Electronics Showcase (CES) in Las Vegas in early January, according to Business Insider.

The watch will be powered by an Intel processor and may look like the Witherings Activité we've previously featured on this blog. If so, the TAG Heuer will resemble an old-school analog watch and function as a health tracker measuring steps, distance covered, calories burned, sleep patterns, and so on.

Top TAG Heuer executive, Jean-Claude Biver, has previously criticized the Apple Watch of having "no sex appeal" and looking "like it was designed by a student in their first trimester."

Stay tuned.
