Omega has released a stunning updated version of the Speedmaster Mark II, originally launched in 1969. The pre-Baselworld 2014 release will come in at least two different color combinations: red-orange accents with a gray dial (above) and white and green accents with a black matte dial (below).
The new retro-themed Speedmaster Mark II sports a tachymeter that is visible in low light and is illuminated from beneath by an aluminum ring filled with luminescent material.
Other notable features: a brushed stainless steel barrel-shaped case, three sub-dials, and a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. A co-axial caliber 3330 automatic movement will power the new watch.
Omega says the watch will retail at $6,250 USD.
