Antiquorum, the world's leading watch auction house held it's "Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces" in Geneva on November 10th. More than 600 timepieces sold for $8.34 million USD.
The top sale was the Patek Philippe Ref. 5016 Tourbillon Minute Repeater with Perpetual Calendar and black dial in pink gold (pictured above), which sold for a stunning $791K USD. The watch features a one-minute tourbillon regulator, retrograde perpetual calendar, black dial, pink-gold case, Patek Philippe-branded buckle, and moon phases.
Julien Schaerer, the Managing Director for Antiquorum in Geneva, told the press that they were "delighted" with the result.
