The world's biggest watch show is set to kick-off on Thursday. Baselworld is usually held in March but this year it was pushed back six weeks to accomodate the construction a brand new $450 million exhibition hall. The cavernous 400,000 square feet of space can hold as many as 2,000 exhibitors on its main floor alone. To give you a sense of the scale, the new facility is made from 3,500 tons of steel girders, 5,200 tons of reinforcing steel, and 160,000 cubic feet of concrete.
More than 100,000 people are expected to attend Baselworld 2013. Are you one of the lucky ones?
