Our Favorite New Watch Site for 2012: WIS-Market.com

There's so many choices out there where it comes time to purchase, sell, or trade watches and accessories. But there's one that stands above the crowd and, for our money, gets our vote for favorite new watch web site for 2012.

WIS-Market.com is a meta-search engine that crawls through the leading secondary markets, like TimeZone and Watchuseek, quickly, easily, and for free. Filters allow you to sort by category (for sale, for trade, want to buy), price, brand, or site source. There are also right-rail modules that display the hottest watches against various price points.

One of the coolest features is "Trends" in the top navigation. This a great example of data visualization and highlights such things as which forums have the most posts and which brands have the most listings. Another handy feature is the ability to "save" a listing or view full listing data (via the "More info" button) without ever leaving the site.

While it's currently in beta, we've found it to be very stable, feature rich, and content complete.

Check it out and let us know what you think.
