Swiss watches may be the industry standard but there's plenty of amazing timepieces being made in other parts of the world. Our favorites from outside Switzerland come from just over the northern border in Germany, such as the stunning one-hand MeisterSinger No. 3 Automatik pictured above. Here are four more stellar timepieces we'd be happy to wear daily.
1. Nomos Tangomat Datum. A classic Bauhaus inspired timepiece and our personal favorite.
2. Junghans Max Bill Automatic 027/3500.00 with calfskin buckle strap and stainless steel case.
3. Sinn 556. A timeless sports watch that looks good hanging out in jeans or giving presentations in the boardroom.
4. Stowa Antea KS 41. Another Bauhaus-inspired gem by watchmaker extraordinaire Jörg Schauer. The Antea KS 41 was introduced at Baselworld 2012.
