Last week Hublot made noise with the introduction of a $5 million watch at Baselworld. This week, Hublot entered a different arena by taking a shot at their first-ever Swiss made basketball watch. The King Power Miami Heat Chronograph is limited to just 200 pieces and is made of 18k gold infused with five-percent platinum.
The most interesting part of this unusual timepiece is a 48-minute central counter ring designed to mimic the four quarters of a basketball game. Other basketball "friendly" features include:
- a bezel that resembles a basketball net
- a Miami Heat basketball logo near the center of the dial
- a basketball themed Hublot gift box
- the numbers of each Miami Heat player engraved into the case back
The watch also comes with a Miami Heat jersey autographed by their defensive star, Udonis Haslem. Its available exclusively in South Florida Hublot Boutiques and select Hublot retailers.
Proceeds from all sales will go to the Miami Heath Charitable Fund for families in need in South Florida.
