Swatch Group to Increase Workforce

Swatch plans to beef up its workforce by 6 percent as it struggles to keep up with booming demand boost  for its products.

According to the Financial Times, the company is looking to add 1,500 jobs in production and disribution in Switzerland to address bottlenecks across its business.

The Swatch Group's standout ETA movement division, needs at least 500 additional staff,  says Nick Hayek, the company's chief executive.

"All parts of the Swatch Group are facing extraordinary growth. And that’s coming from virtually all over the world," says Hayek.
