Robbers Grab Jewels and Swiss Watches from De Beers and Omega

A gang of thieves used sledgehammers to smash open display cases at a De Beers store and an Omega boutique in a luxury shopping arcade in London's financial district August 15th. Police believe they used boltcutters to remove the chain and padlock securing the iron gates at one of the four entrances before breaking through the glass doors. The robbers made off in a red BMW with as a much as $1 million in watches and jewels. Police are currently pursuing a variety of leads but no arrests of been made.
