This week I was at the gym when I accidentally dropped my Rolex Submariner. The clasp seemed a little off so I took it to customer service in the Rolex Building on 5th Avenue in New York City. Talk about a great customer service experience. I briefly explained the problem to a representative who carefully placed the watch on a velvet-laden tray and personally escorted it away to a technician on a different floor. Meanwhile I relaxed in the refined "waiting room" with a magazine. Twenty minutes later the watch was back on my wrist, not only fixed but polished and cleaned. Plus, I was given a brand new Rolex watch cloth. The price for this level of service? Nothing--it was free.
