Swiss Watch Companies Begin to Embrace Internet

Just a few months ago, Swiss watch brands were still largely suspicious of the Internet. Today, some forward looking brands are starting to step-up their online presence and realizing that the Web isn’t just a danger zone of fakes and uncontrolled distribution but an opportunity to reach out to new consumers and build communities with shared interests.

Brands of note include Vacheron Constantin, which has produced the award-winning Hour Lounge, where watch lovers can chat about watches and Hublot, which is the first watch brand to host its own online TV channel.
